Payment security
Online card payments run through PCI-DSS-compliant regional payment gateways with 3-D Secure authentication. QrBite never stores full card numbers, and gateway credentials are stored encrypted with AES-256.
Payment audit trail
Every payment gateway exchange is recorded in a wire-level audit log with sensitive fields sanitised, so every charge, refund, and settlement can be traced end to end.
Role-based access
Staff access is permission-gated per module — waiters, cashiers, kitchen, managers, and owners each see exactly what their role allows, per branch and per restaurant.
Hardened sign-in
Login is rate-limited with automatic lockout, and every session is re-validated against a server-side security stamp — a password change or deactivation revokes access immediately.
Data protection
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS and HSTS. Each restaurant's data is scoped to its own tenant — menus, orders, staff, and settlement never cross between customers.
